This three day trip leads you to Lumbini, which is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Buddha. This peaceful place is home to a monastery, a museum, a sacred lake and several temples.

Day to Day

Day 01 - Kathmandu to Lumbini

You will leave early in the morning by bus to Lumbini or after breakfast you will be transfered to the domestic airport to fly to Bhairahawa from where you will get transfered to your hotel. You can wander around and relax.

Day 02 - Sightseeing of Lumbini

After breakfast you will visit the important archaeological site, Tilaurkot, the ancient palace of king Suddodha (Buddha's father) where Buddha grew up as Shakya prince. Just look around at your own pace. Visit the museum where you can see pottery, jewelry, clothes and loads more. After this you will end your tour in Lumbini by visiting the shrines, monasteries, the stupa and lake near the sacred garden.

Day 03 - Lumbini to Kathmandu

Take a bus (or flight) back to Kathmandu. You will be brought back to your hotel.


The price per person is €100 (minimum 2 persons)

Included in the price are transportations (except flight), a professional English speaking guide, entree fees, meals and accommodation.


Not included is your own insurance, visa costs, flight, beverages other than tea/coffee and water, optional tips for guide, and personal expenses.
