Safety

You should understand that outdoor adventure activities have risks. We cannot guarantee 100% safety, but we do everything in our power to minimize the risks so that you can enjoy the trip!

Our guides

All our guides and safety kayakers are highly trained and have years of rafting experience. They know about survival skills, they have local knowledge and great English communication. All guides have international qualifications for Rescue 3 WRT (Whitewater Rescue Technicians), IRF (International Rafting Federation Raft Guides), Wilderness First Aid and SWRT (Swift Water Rescue Technician).

Equipment

All safety equipment we use is CE/ISO certified and is regularly checked and cleaned. We provide high quality helmets, lifejackets, paddles, wetsuits (if required), spray jackets, karabiners etc. We bring extra paddles and repair kits on every trip and guides are trained for emergency repairs. Also first aid kits are brought on every trip and all guides know how to administer first aid.

Briefing

Before every trip there is a comprehensive safety briefing and demonstration to ensure the participant knows how to take part safely. On all trips we provide at least one safety kayaker. Participants must follow instructions given by the guides.

Insurance

All participants must hold valid travel insurance and provide the details prior to departure. If you do not have insurance you cannot participate. Also you are asked to provide emergency contact information.

Emergency

Communication between office and riverguides/kayakers is available 24 hours per day and we have all emergency contact information for hospitals, helicopters, police, etc. If something happens on the river we know how to deal with it quickly and professionally.
