Himalayan Hidden Treasure believes in a world where every child can fully develop his talents. In many local communities across Nepal, children try to build up a better future for themselves and their families with limited resources. Many children don’t have access to education and there is a low literacy rate in the country. This leads to poverty and a lifetime struggle to make enough money to survive. With good education, we hope to raise their chances of getting a good job, so they can provide for themselfs and their families. We envision a world where every child is safe, educated, and loved.

We donate 10% of our profit to the local community for educational purposes, like building a library or handing out school supplies, to enable these children to make their dreams come true and give them a bright future ahead. 

Also we offer a great community trek, where you stay in homestays and ecolodges run by the community. During this trek you get a great insight into the local culture and at the same time you directly support the in a real sense, ensuring most of the economic benefit stays with the local people.
