Overview

This river is just half an hour away from Pokhara, making this an ideal rafting trip for those with limited time. Without doubt the most exciting thing you can do in Pokhara! And it is quite possibly one of the best white water experiences in Nepal, with thrilling non-stop rapids and amazing views of the Annapurna range on the way!

Itinerary

Your river trip begins and ends in Pokhara and runs twice a day, at 9 am and 1 pm. You will be provided with drinking water and a nice, hygienically prepared sandwich at the end of your trip. The bus ride will only take about half an hour from Pokhara. The whole procedure from departure to returning in Pokhara takes about 3 hours.

Once at the river, everyone is fitted with a lifejacket and helmet. Then the trip leader and safety kayaker give an extensive safety briefing, explaining how to paddle and what to do if you fall out from the raft. Rafting in Seti is much more than simply forward and backward paddling. You use your whole body in an attempt to avoid the rocks and move through fast rapids.

Our trip starts at Bamboo Bridge. For the next 1.5 hour there will be non-stop rapids, varying from Class III+ to IV. The adrenaline rises with each rapid. You barely have time to take in the beautiful nature along the way, the great mountain views, a beautiful gorge and crystal clear water. Our trip ends at the Dam, where you end with a nice lunch.
