Privacy
Any information you fill out on this website will be solely used for the purpose of which you given them. We respect and guarantee your privacy, which means your personal information will only be used for the purpose they are meant for and will be protected by us. We will never give your personal information to other parties.
Booking & Payment Conditions
Prices are stated in Euros. Payments can be made in Euros cash, USD or equivalent local Nepalese Rupees at the published bank exchange rate on the day of payment. Online payments incur a 5% surcharge. You are required to pay 15% in advance in order to secure your participation. Your final payment can be made locally, no later than 24 hours prior to departure.
Cancellation Policy
If for any reason we need to cancel a trip, we will immediately provide you with a full refund.
Participants that wish to cancel for any reason, have to do before 72 hours prior to departure. In this case they only pay the 15% advance money.
For 72-48 hours prior to departure a 25% penalty applies.
For 48-24 hours prior to departure a 50% penalty applies
Less than 24 hours prior to departure means a 75% penalty applies.
No-show or cancellation on the departure date means 100% penalty.
Only in case of an emergency, a full refund is considered. Under no circumstances will refunds or transfers be considered if participants do not show up at departure point or if they voluntarily leave a trip prematurely. We recommend you to have trip cancellation insurance.
Booking Form
Each participant must complete a booking form before participation. The form requires information about your nationality and passport number, insurance information, emergency contact information and any medical conditions.
The booking form also includes certain responsibilities & acceptance of risk. Participants must agree and be willing to sign this to go on a trip with us. They have to actively participate and follow the guide’s instructions, state that they are physically fit enough to participate, agree to wear safety gear like helmet and life jacket during a rafting trip and state that they are aware of any risks involved in the activity.
Himalayan Hidden Treasure Acknowledgement of Risk
We take all steps possible to ensure the safety of all participants while on the trip with us. But you should be aware that there are certain risks involved that are integral to the activity. We acknowledge there is an element of risk to participants of this trip.
Participants under 16 years
Participants under 16 years of age need consent from their parent or gardian to participate in the activity.
Insurance
All clients must hold valid travel insurance which covers participation in risky activities (for rafting and trekking) and includes provisions for emergency service transportation (helicopter rescue).
Alterations
Himalayan Hidden Treasure reserves the right to make alterations to tripdetails and company documents, before and after any booking has been received and confirmed. Most of these changes will be minor and in most cases we will inform you at the earliest opportunity.
General
We cannot be held responsible for weather conditions. We reserve the right to alter/substitute the trip/schedule due to weather conditions, strikes, mechanical failure or in the interest of safety.
